Environmental Philosophy
Environmental protection is one of the main prerequisites for successful development of MINUDOBRENIYA JSC and a significant part of its every day activities. The Company collective considers it to be a matter of principal to adhere to strategy to preserve the environment together with solving numerous production challenges.
The main principles of our work are as follows:
– observance of requirements of Federal, Regional and local Law regulating the Company activities in the sphere of environmental protection;
– introduction of modern technologies, equipment and material which have lower influence on the environment and reduce intensity of natural resources consumption;
– ecological conducting of investment and construction projects to be followed in all the stages of their fulfillment including working out of nature conservative documentation both for new construction and objects to be repaired;
– monitoring of the environment of the production site;
– involvement of every employee into the process of environmental quality management, constant training and motivation of the staff.
Current expenses for the environmental protection made 57.46 million rubles in 2004 (compare: in 2003 they made 50.74 million rubles), expenses for overhaul of main production funds on the environmental protection comprised 10 million rubles (compared to 8.2 million rubles in 2003). Due to that the Company was able to keep to project standards on dumping and rejection of polluting materials.
